Albert Fouquet often visited his friends Alessandro and Chiara at their villa in Provence, where they enjoyed the colors and aromas of the region’s wild plants. When Alessandro, a diplomat, was assigned to the Philippines, he longed for the beauty of Provence during his time abroad.\n\nTo ease this nostalgia, Fouquet created a perfume that captured the freshness and richness of Provence’s countryside. He sent it to his friends in a beautiful green bottle, naming it “Champs de Provence.”
